As much as I love dresses, I’m really not a dress kind of girl. I will pick jeans every day for the rest of my life over any other clothing garment but when the sun is out and it’s still cool enough that you don’t have to strip down for survival, there’s nothing more flattering than a wrap dress. There’s a reason DVF has been making them for 40 years. Light, comfortable and easy to wear, every woman should have at least one wrap dress in their closet.
The one I’m wearing is by RealisationPar, an LA based company that every model and it-girl seems to wear. I paired the dress with my favourite studded Givenchy boots and the accessory everyone is wearing this summer; a belt bag. I’ve been looking for a belt bag for months and thought I was leaning towards a velvet one but the versatility of the nylon really appealed to me for the summer. Prada nylon bags last forever too so I’m looking forward to having this when belt bags are back in style in another 20 years.
